Blood Princess
Red
droplets bead her pale throat,
making a blood necklace.
Wetness drips down
like crimson dew
clinging to a silken petal.
She paints herself,
smearing darkness across a virginous,
white palette.
A Masterpiece in blood.
And she dreams,
with tenacious wonder,
of what royal figure
she will paint next.
