Through the darkness,

A pool of light
reflecting his being
washed over me.

His soul passing
through mine.

Created,
the eternal flame.

Once glorified.
Never to die.

Now extinguished
from the face of this earth.

The worst has come to be.

Angel crushed wings
in scathing heat.

The solitary heart,
never to be stolen.

The once innocent eyes
reeking deceit.

A narcissist.
Away with dark devil.

Enfeebled in mind,
never to be.

At last we depart.
Our once intertwined souls
writhing in a frenzy.

A stoic life of solitude.

A most inescapable fate,
as we have fallen from grace.

Tonight,
a most magnificent star
has disappeared
from the sky.
