Immortalized Goddess

A dark shadow

Painting the Goddess
intensely.

Fingertips stained
with gold and violet,
from glorious mane
and long flowing skirts.

Lingering,
passionate strokes
outlining the delicate curves
of her supple body.

Feverishly enamored
with this vision
before him.

Her cobalt blue eyes
began to sparkle,
like a thousand chips
of shattered ice.

Rising from the canvas,

She put her lips to his.
